Founded in 1872 by Luigi Perbellini, a baker, and passed down from generation to generation, during which time famous dessert recipes were developed.
In particular, the “offella d’oro,” a sweet yeast-raised pastry to which he added chopped almonds on top to enhance its flavor.
In 1900, the company moved to Bovolone and expanded its production to include 150 recipes, all of which are still made and packaged by hand.
